Adidas has revealed that they won't be writing off the remaining YEEZY inventory. Instead, they plan to sell the remaining YEEZY products, at least at cost, in 2024. This decision comes in light of revenue reports indicating that currency-neutral revenues remained unchanged compared to the previous year in 2023. The halt in Yeezy business adversely affected the year's overall revenue growth, causing a decline of approximately €500 million in the year-over-year comparison.
However, the introduction of two Yeezy drops had a positive impact, contributing around €750 million to net sales in 2023. In 2022, Yeezy revenues totaled more than €1,200 million. Excluding Yeezy revenues in both years, currency-neutral revenues showed a 2% increase in 2023.
