Timothée Chalamet has a longstanding partnership with Cartier. As an ambassador for the esteemed Parisian jewelry brand, he frequently collaborates with them to design unique pieces for his appearances on the red carpet. Ahead of the release of "Dune: Part Two," Cartier worked with Chalamet to create a bespoke necklace for his role in "Wonka." Now, for "Dune: Part Two," Chalamet once again impresses with another custom Cartier creation.
Worn at the London premiere of the film, Chalamet showcased a special necklace inspired by "Dune." The necklace featured rotating set pieces, allowing for 900 different combinations of gemstones, including diamonds in shades of orange, yellow, and brown, reminiscent of Arrakis' desert landscape.
Cartier also incorporated inverted diamonds to mimic the rough textures of Dune's planetary topography. Additionally, blue sapphires and spinels were included as a nod to the blue eyes of the Fremen tribe in the movie.
In a press statement, Chalamet expressed his admiration for Cartier's creations and emphasized the significance of their collaboration. He noted the successful fusion of Cartier's style with the desert aesthetic of "Dune," contrasting it with their previous collaboration's more whimsical tone.
